Your guide will share local insights along the way to get you excited about the day ahead.

10:00 AM – Visit to Chagga Traditional House & Cultural Museum

Arriving in Marangu, we begin with a fascinating visit to a traditional Chagga house made from banana leaves and learn how these unique structures were designed to shelter both people and livestock. In the small cultural museum, you’ll see historical tools, weapons, and household items, with your guide explaining Chagga traditions and their deep history of resistance against colonization. It’s an eye-opening way to step back in time and appreciate local ingenuity.
